In my experience there are always rumors out there, when I sold my agency the man who purchased it was just awful with spreading rumors and really being negative and damaging. I think this is all a part of doing business. If you have always done the best that you can do, you won't worry about anyone, including your competition "spreading false and disparaging statements" because your actions and results will speak for themselves. I for one, would really research whether I wanted to do business with a company that was bad mouthing another company, even if there is a basis for those rumors. Due diligence in everything you do and making your own opinions will take you further in the long run.

We have not ventured into the leasing arena. Since our customer demographic is subprime, we are facing the challenges that many lenders have, which is keeping the customers in the vehicle and prevent a 'walk away.'
