Fellow Collection Professionals,

I was wondering if there is a market for a credit professional with over 25 years experience in the credit collection industry who is looking for a sponsor so that he can relocate to OZ? any answers?

The Sydney Morning Herald reported Australian's spending habits should become more modest.

The economics correspondent Jessica Irvine writes:

"Australia's decade-and-a-half-long debt binge is coming to an end and a new era of austerity, in which consumers pay down their debts, live within their means and save for the future, is beginning, the Reserve Bank governor, Glenn Stevens, has predicted."

The article says this is a result of "entering a new period of constrained credit and tightened lending criteria." The result? More Australian consumers will "rein in their big-spending ways."

Any thoughts on this?
